Frank McGarvey says that Celtic ace Leigh Griffiths is the best centre-forward in Scotland.

The former Celtic forward has also stated that Griffiths has become more mature and is the best centre-forward in Scotland.
The 62-year-old former Scotland international has also praised the 27-year-old for handling his situation at Celtic this past season well.
Dembele and Odsonne Edouard were ahead of the 27-year-old former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker in the pecking order.

McGarvey told The Daily Record: “For me, Griffiths is the best centre forward in Scotland. He’s exceptional.
“Dembele is a terrific player on his day as well but I’m a huge fan of Griffiths. Edouard is another player who has shown what he is capable of last season after signing on loan from PSG.
“But Griffiths was very hard done by having to be third choice behind them. It’s a sign of his maturity that he has been able to accept the situation. He seems to have his head screwed on now.”

Important player
Griffiths has been on the books of Celtic since January 2014 when he joined from Wolves for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £1 million.
The 27-year-old has been an important player for the Glasgow giants, and has won the Scottish Premiership title five times with the Bhoys.
The Scottish striker, who earns £18,000 per week as salary according to The Daily Star, has scored 98 goals in 181 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops, as stated on Celtic’s official website.
