Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic will face Rangers next month.

Steven Gerrard is already weaving his magic at Rangers, and it seems that the Ibrox club will challenge Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Celtic will not play in the group stage of the Champions League this season, while Rangers could quality for the Europa League.
Rangers are also above their bitter Old Firm rivals in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment, and the first Old Firm derby of the season next month promises to be a massive encounter and will have a lot at stake.
Celtic will take on Rangers at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on September 2.
The Hoops’ performances and results so far this season have not been great, but former Celtic striker Frank McAvennie seems to have suggested on social networking site Twitter that the Hoops should save a big result for the Old Firm derby while replying to a fan of the Glasgow giants.
Celtic fans will love McAvennie’s advice, as it will be great for the supporters to watch the team win convincingly against Rangers at Celtic Park.
