Celtic legend Frank McAvennie trolls Glasgow Rangers after Graeme Murty’s departure at Ibrox.

Celtic legend Frank McAvennie has poked fun at Rangers on Twitter after the announcement regarding Graeme Murty.
The 43-year-old stepped down as Rangers manager today ahead of the Gers’ last three games of the season.
The decision comes days after Celtic thumped Murty’s side 5-0 to clinch a seventh successive Scottish Premiership title, though speculation about Steven Gerrard taking the job at Ibrox dominated headlines before and after the Parkhead mauling.
McAvennie has suggested, through the use of a picture, that the Ibrox club’s board is populated by clowns – a post that certainly had Hoops fans laughing.

Gerrard certainly seems like the man to inherit Murty’s role and it seems a big risk by Rangers.
He might be a footballing icon – particularly in Liverpool – but the 37-year-old has never managed a senior club before, with his only experiencing coming as the Reds’ youth manager.
But time will tell whether it’s a stroke of genius by the Gers or the latest in a series of horrendous decisions.
