Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic won against Rosenborg in the Europa League on Thursday.

Frank McAvennie has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s win against Rosenborg away from home on Thursday evening.
Celtic have got the better of Rosenborg 1-0 in Norway in the Europa League Group B.
Former Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair scored the only goal of the match just three minutes before the half-time interval.
The win against Rosenborg means that Celtic are now second in the group with nine points from five matches.
The Scottish Premiership club are six points behind group leaders and already-qualified RB Rosenborg and three points clear of third-placed RB Leipzig.
This means that for Celtic to progress to the knockout rounds of the Europa League this season, the Hoops need just a point from their final group match against Salzburg at Celtic Park on December 13.

Former Celtic striker McAvennie was following the match on Thursday evening, and he was pleased with the win for Brendan Rodgers’s side.
McAvennie has also predicted that Rodgers will go for the win against Salzburg next month, and will not play for a draw despite a point being enough to see them progress to the knockout rounds of the Europa League.
