Celtic failed to win against Ibrox outfit Glasgow Rangers at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Frank McAvennie has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s failure to win against Rangers at home on Sunday afternoon.

Celtic played out a 1-1 draw with Old Firm rivals Rangers at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.

Brendan Rodgers’s side took the lead in the 35th minute through Stuart Armstrong, but the Gers restored parity through Clint Hill in the 87th minute.

Former Celtic striker McAvennie was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon, hosts Celtic had 56% of the possession, took 11 shots of which seven were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Rangers had 44% of the possession, took eight shots of which five were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 80 points from 28 matches, while Rangers are currently third in the standings with 47 points from 28 games.
