Worrall remains on loan at Rangers from Nottingham Forest.

Frank McAvennie has told Open Goal’s Right In The Coupon that Martin O’Neill does not want to recall Joe Worrall to Nottingham Forest from his Rangers loan after Wednesday night’s blunder against Kilmarnock.
Worrall, 22, started the clash at Rugby Park earlier this week after a sensational display against Old Firm rivals Celtic before the winter break. However, he played a part in the defeat.
Comfortable in possession, just inside his own half, Worrall inexplicably surrendered possession to Eamonn Brophy who raced through and equalised for Killie. Jermain Defoe had given Rangers the lead.
Jordan Jones won the match 2-1 with an excellent second-half strike, and McAvennie was asked about Worrall and joked new Nottingham Forest manager Martin O’Neill will have told Rangers to “keep him”.
It was like Strictly Come Dancing, or Dancing on Ice,” McAvennie said. “There was nobody near him, 40 yards from goal. Martin O’Neill won’t want him after that. ‘Keep him’. He phoned me and said ‘keep him'”.

Steven Gerrard now has a decision to make at centre-back, with Connor Goldson returning and Nikola Katic desperate for an opportunity to return to the side. Gareth McAuley was also criticised for his display on Wednesday.
Rangers face another difficult test on Sunday as they travel to the Tony Macaroni Stadium to face Gary Holt’s Livingston. The last time the two sides met at Livi’s ground, the home side shocked the Gers with a 1-0 win at Ibrox.
