Jake Hastie moved to Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers in the summer transfer window.

Hastie joined Rangers in the summer transfer window on a free, having agreed a pre-contract with the Gers last season.
The 20-year-old winger was at Motherwell at the time and did well for them last season.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the youngster scored six goals and provided one assist in 14 Scottish Premiership appearances for Well during the second half of last season.
The Scotland Under-21 international is struggling to play regularly for the Rangers first team at the moment, and with the likes of Jamie Murphy, Sheyi Ojo and Jordan Jones in the squad, it is going to be hard for the youngster to get much playing time for the Gers this season.

Former Celtic striker McAvennie has suggested that Rangers should have loaned Hastie back to Motherwell for the 2019-20 campaign so that he could get a full season of replaying time.
McAvennie said about Hastie on Open Goal: “Once everyone is fit, he is not going to get anywhere near the first team. Why didn’t they buy him and loan him back and give him a full season at Motherwell?”
