Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard believes that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino could allow Kyle Walker to leave the club in the summer.
Walker has been outstanding this season for Spurs. However, he has been linked with a move from away from White Hart Lane in recent weeks.
According to reports from The Sun, Manchester City are seemingly interested in signing the right-back, and Tottenham would settle for a fee of around £50m.
The report suggests that the 26-year-old has been left frustrated by Mauricio Pochettino’s willingness to rotate between him and Kieran Trippier.

Walker earns around £65,000-a-week at Spurs, according to Daily Mail, and he is some way adrift of being one of the top earners at the club.
He is set to hold talks with the club at the end of campaign, but signs are evident that Pochettino is probably considering life without him.
Walker was left out of Tottenham’s starting line-up for the 4-2 defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final clash at Wembley. And again, in the crucial north London derby clash, he was left on the bench.
Lampard believes Pochettino has a solid ready-made replacement in Trippier, and that Pochettino could be willing to let Walker leave the club in the summer.
“I’m a big Kyle walker fan but to be fair to Trippier, his delivery is probably a better one. If Pochettino feels Walker is looking elsewhere he may be looking to the future,” said Lampard on Sky Sports 1 on Sunday afternoon (broadcast from 4:15pm, April 30, 2017) in the build-up to the Live Nissan Super Sunday game between Tottenham and Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
If Spurs get anything close to the quoted amount, they would surely be able to find a top class right-back, and still have enough money left to bolster other areas of the pitch.
