Everton manager Frank Lampard wants to sign Arsenal target Cody Gakpo from PSV in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Everton boss Lampard sent Steve Davis to watch Gakpo in action for PSV in their UEFA Champions League qualifier against Rangers last week.
The 23-year-old winger has been linked with other clubs as well, including Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
FootMercato reported earlier this month that Leeds and Arsenal are interested in signing the the Netherlands international winger in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United are also reported to be interested in Gakpo.

Could Everton sign Arsenal target Cody Gakpo?
In our opinion, Everton could struggle to sign Cody Gakpo ahead of Arsenal and Manchester United from PSV in the summer transfer window.
Yes, Everton are a big and established club in the Premier League, but Arsenal and Manchester United are bigger clubs.
The 23-year-old would find the Gunners and the Red Devils more appealing that the Toffees.
Gakpo has scored two goals and given one assist in two Eredivisie matches for PSV so far this season.
The winger scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists in 22 league starts last season.
