Frank Lampard has named Tottenham Hotspur duo Dele Alli and Harry Kane in his Team of the Season so far, as seen on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football Twitter page.

Lampard worked as a pundit during Monday’s game between two of his former clubs as Chelsea beat West Ham United 2-0 at the London Stadium, thanks to goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.

The result takes league leaders Chelsea one step closer to the Premier League title, and when Lampard was asked for this Team of the Season so far, the Blues were – unsurprisingly – heavily represented.

Lampard’s team, as seen on the Sky Sports Monday Night Football Twitter page, contained a total of five Chelsea players in a 4-1-2-1-2 system, with Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz, N’Golo Kante, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa all included in the XI.

Despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s heroics for Manchester United this season, there is just one Red Devil in Lampard’s team, with David De Gea in goal.

Joining Azpilicueta and Luiz in the defence are Burnley’s impressive centre back Michael Keane, and Southampton’s former Chelsea left back Ryan Bertrand – picked ahead of Tottenham’s Danny Rose.

There are two Spurs players in the team though, as Dele Alli is selected at the tip of the diamond, with Harry Kane partnering Costa up front – ahead of the likes of Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku.

Not one Arsenal player made the team, as Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana was also named by Lampard in a strong line-up, as seen below.
