Tottenham Hotspur beat Real Madrid 3-1 in Champions League action last night.

Spurs ran out 3-1 winners at Wembley in one of the greatest night’s in the club’s history yesterday.
Tottenham completely outplayed the Spanish giants to seal their qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
And Chelsea legend Lampard admitted that Spurs’ performance will have sent shockwaves across the whole of Europe.

“If Tottenham play like that then every team in Europe will fear them,” Lampard said.
Right from kick-off Tottenham looked at the top of their game against Madrid last night, and Zinedine Zidane’s side simply couldn’t cope.
Spurs took the lead in the first-half when Dele Alli got on the end of Kieran Trippier’s cross to tap in from close range, and they never looked back.

Tottenham added a second through a deflected Alli strike, before Christian Eriksen dispatched a third.
Madrid did pull a goal back through Cristiano Ronaldo, but it did not spoil what will go down as a very special night in Tottenham history.
