Everton manager Frank Lampard has praised Leeds United winger Jack Harrison on Sky Sports News (5:25pm, February 12, 2022).

Lampard has said that Leeds star Harrison, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, is one of the best wingers in the Premier League at the moment.

The Chelsea legend made the comments about 25-year-old Englishman after the match between Everton and Leeds at the weekend.

The Toffees won 3-0 against Marcelo Bielsa’s side at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday.

Everton boss Lampard was impressed by how right-back Seamus Coleman handled Harrison.

Important player

In our view, Harrison is a big player for Leeds, and Lampard’s praise for the winger is well deserved.

The 25-year-old has progressed and developed a lot under head coach Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds.

The Leeds no. 22 has scored four goals and provided one assist in 18 Premier League starts, and scored two goals and gave one assist in two Carabao Cup ties so far this season.

Harrison scored eight goals and gave eight assists in 34 Premier League starts for Leeds last season.

For Leeds to survive the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season, in our opinion, Harrison will have to play well.
