Opening their Champions League campaign away at Olympiakos was always going to be tough for Tottenham.
But after going 2-0 up, they might be disappointed to have only drawn. Yet with 20 minutes to go it looked as though the Greek side may win it. A 2-2 draw ended up looking like a good result.
One of the problems for Spurs is that they had too many passengers in their side.

Tanguy Ndombele
Tottenham’s record signing looked off the pace, and that is because it was his first start in September.
Even so, more was expected from the midfielder and his performance was underwhelming.
It was no surprise when he was substituted off for Moussa Sissoko and Tottenham were better for it.
Dele Alli
Something isn’t quite right with Dele Alli, although he is another player still working his way back from injury.
His goal threat isn’t there at the moment and it seems like he is struggling to find his role in the side.
He managed only one shot on target and did not create any chances.
Christian Eriksen
This might have been Eriksen’s worst performance of the season for Tottenham.
It was surprising that he lasted all 90 minutes. It was a night where concerns over his expiring contract become magnified.
He completed only 78 per cent of his passes, the lowest rate of any Tottenham player barring Harry Kane.
Ben Davies
Wales international Ben Davies was given a torrid night by Olympiakos winger Daniel Podence.
The good news for Davies is that he probably won’t be picked to face him in the home fixture in November.
He was also coming back from injury, but this was a performance which exposed his limitations.
