The former Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper coach was assistant manager at Boundary Park.

The former Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper coach, Andy Rhodes, has left Oldham Athletic just four months after he joined the Latics as assistant manager.
Oldham confirmed the termination of Rhodes’ contract via a short statement on Friday afternoon, and thanked the 54-year-old for his contributions.
Rhodes, who was replaced by Nicky Weaver at Wednesday, spent more than eight years at Hillsborough.
He counts England youth internationals Cameron Dawson and Joe Wildsmith among those whose careers he has helped to develop in that time, while the experienced trio Keiren Westwood, Chris Kirkland and Weaver have previously been forthcoming with their praise for Rhodes.

Rhodes, whose son is the Sheffield Wednesday-owned Norwich City loan striker, Jordan, previously spent two years as a goalkeeper at Oldham, before returning as a coach.
Speaking to Talksport on Friday morning, Rhodes Jnr gave no indication of his father’s impending fate, replying when asked that he was “really good, thank you”.
