Rangers beat Hearts 2-1 away from home on Sunday afternoon.

Rangers have moved to the summit of the Scottish Premiership after beating Hearts 2-1 in a huge victory at Tynecastle on Sunday afternoon.
The Gers were back in domestic action on Sunday as they travelled to Edinburgh to take on Hearts, just days after scrapping their way to a well-earned 0-0 Europa League draw with Villarreal.
Boss Steven Gerrard made four changes to his side after that 0-0 draw, but Rangers fell behind in the first half when Gareth McAuley put Marcus Godinho’s cross into his own net to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.
However, Rangers fought back before the break, with Connor Goldson equalising, and red-hot striker Alfredo Morelos was again the saviour as he scored yet again to make it 2-1.
Rangers almost cost themselves points again as Scott Arfield was sent off for a bizarre challenge on goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal, but Gerrard’s men held out and claimed all three points to go top of the table.
After the game, Rangers players took to Twitter to react, with James Tavernier posting a photo of himself celebrating alongside striker Morelos, whilst the Colombian was also in celebratory mood.
Winger Candeias was also overjoyed with the victory, whilst substitute Ross McCrorie noted that it was a ‘great result’ and praised the ‘unreal’ travelling fans.
