Fernandinho is reportedly already on the radar for four Brazilian clubs after the midfielder announced this week he will leave Manchester City this summer.
According to Globo Esporte, Athletico Paranaense, Botafogo, Corinthians and Flamengo have all registered an interest in the 36-year-old South American, who is set to return to his homeland.
As per the report, though, Fernandinho already has a prefered club in mind, with the veteran midfielder keen on returning to Paranaense, the side where the City star began his career.
The midfielder left Pep Guardiola speechless this week when the City manager discovered of Fernandinho’s decision to leave the club during a press conference for this week’s UEFA Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid as per the Guardian.
Fernandinho came off the bench last night in City’s 0-0 draw against Atletico which sees the Manchester side progress to the semi-finals, where a clash against Real Madrid awaits.
With the Brazilian yet to win a European trophy with City, Fernandinho will be desperate to finish off this job this year after coming so close to Champions League glory last year against Chelsea.
City must win the Champions League this year with Fernandinho leaving

After disappointing one club legend in Sergio Aguero last season in his final game for the club in the Champions League final, the Cityzens can’t do the same again this season with Fernandinho.
Indeed, the club captain has become a key part of City’s modern history, and winning the Champions League as well as the Premier League and FA Cup will be the perfect way to cap off Fernandinho’s time in Manchester.
