Nacer Chadli joined West Bromwich Albion for a club-record fee.

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster believes that new signing Nacer Chadli has already shown his class and raised the standards around the club, he told the club’s official website.
Chadli joined West Brom for a club-record transfer fee from Tottenham Hotspur during the summer and he has already made his mark at the club, scoring two goals and grabbing two assists in three matches.
West Brom boss Tony Pulis was evidently frustrated at not landing a number of key targets in the summer, yet the addition of Chadli has so far silenced talk of a poor transfer window.

The former Spurs ace has been sublime for the Baggies, and goalkeeper Foster told the club’s official website that Chadli’s presence has already raised the standards among the rest of the group.
“He (Chadli) had an amazing home debut a few weeks ago, he’s an absolutely class player. I think as soon as he walked in to the building everybody realised he’s got such a class about him,” Foster explained.
“He’s going to raise the standards not only on the pitch but in training as well, he raises the standard of training because everybody can see what he can do and everybody wants to try and match that.”

Aside from his two goals and two assists, Chadli has averaged 2.7 shots, one chance created via a key pass and one successful take-on per Premier League outing so far in West Brom colours.
The Belgium international is capable of playing in a number of attacking positions, though he is arguably at his most dangerous in wide areas and that is something from which West Brom will no doubt benefit.
The Baggies face struggling Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this weekend, and they head in to the match in good form having taken four points from their last two league games.
