A chaotic moment in Spanish football has gone viral for all the wrong reasons, and now even the wrestling world is weighing in.

What started as a tense relegation battle quickly spiraled into one of the most shocking on-field incidents in recent memory. A red card, a loss of control, and one punch turned the match into complete chaos.

And as the clip spread online, it did not take long for a familiar voice from WWE to react.

Wild Zaragoza incident sees goalkeeper punch opponent after red card

As seen in The Forty Four on X, the incident between Zaragoza goalkeeper Esteban Andrada and Huesca defender Jorge Pulido unfolded in dramatic fashion.

Late in stoppage time of a heated derby, Andrada was already shown a second yellow card after shoving Pulido to the ground. But instead of walking off, the situation escalated instantly.

The Argentine goalkeeper suddenly charged back toward Pulido and landed a punch to his face, sparking a massive brawl involving players and staff from both teams.

The chaos did not stop there. Multiple players were sent off following the melee, including another goalkeeper who ran the length of the pitch to get involved.

What should have been a routine dismissal turned into one of the most bizarre and violent scenes seen on a football pitch in years.

Former WWE star John Layfield reacts to the viral punch moment

Reacting via his X handle, the former WWE star could not resist drawing a comparison to his own world.

“Now you guys are getting it,” Layfield wrote.

Layfield’s reaction quickly caught attention, especially given his background in a sport where physical theatrics are expected, but controlled. The irony of a real football match resembling something out of wrestling was not lost on fans.

For many watching, the moment blurred the line between sport and spectacle. But unlike wrestling, there was nothing scripted about what unfolded in Zaragoza.

And that is exactly why the clip has continued to circulate. It was raw, chaotic, and completely out of place in a game that rarely sees that level of physical escalation.
