Vince McMahon is a more than polarising figure in the world of entertainment and his absence from TV in recent years is no surprise.
We all know about McMahon’s alleged past and the allegations and real life issues he’s been dealing with.
However, when it comes to being a pure businessman and building up the WWE into one of the world’s biggest companies, there is no denying McMahon was a pioneer.
Since moving away from WWE and TKO, there have even been rumours of McMahon returning with fresh investors at some point to rebuy the company.
And while that might seem a long way from happening, former WWE champion JBL has paid McMahon his dues.
JBL says Vince McMahon would improve sports entertainment if he returned
Most WWE fans would argue that the current product is better than what we had most of the time under McMahon’s leadership.
Certainly, we hear stories of how the staff and wrestlers in general feel happier within WWE, something McMahon often struggled to keep on top of.

However, speaking on the latest episode of the Something to Wrestle podcast, JBL admitting that from a professional standpoint, McMahon is an asset.
“I think the business world is better with Vince McMahon in it. I think the entertainment world is better with Vince McMahon in it,” JBL said.
“You can pick and choose whether you like him personally or not. I’m not talking about him personally. I’m talking about him professionally
“Is he good for business? He took a $1 million investment and turned it into a company that sold for $9.3 billion. It’s one of the greatest stories in American business history.
“So would he be good at 81 years old to come back and do something? Hell yes, he would. I don’t know what. I have no idea. I don’t have any insight whatsoever. I just hope he does.”
It seems nigh on impossible that we see McMahon back involved with the company with so much outside noise continuing to play out.
Still, as JBL says, his success as a businessman cannot be doubted and when all is said and done, we look back and say there would simply be no WWE without him.
