Ravel Morrison on the substitutes bench
Ravel Morrison has gone from being English football’s brightest talent to warming the bench – if he’s lucky – in Italy.
His career has never recovered from being cast aside while at West Ham United, during Sam Allardyce’s tenure at the club.

Morrison is not a fan of the now former England boss, and took to Twitter to make a not-so-cryptic point yesterday about Allardyce.
The Telegraph report that Allardyce is under the spotlight amid an investigation from Cardiff City into the loan deal which took Morrison to the club on loan from West Ham. The FA are ‘likely’ to inquire over the matter themselves.
England manager Sam Allardyce during the press conference
The Telegraph report regarding Morrison was involved in a row with Allardyce over agents which led to him being dropped from the team.
Allardyce denied this, stating: “There’s no truth in the fact that I have sat with Ravel Morrison and tried to press him into signing anything with any agent, never mind mine.”
Morrison is currently at Lazio, but the 23-year-old is yet to make a first team appearance this season.
