Watford have been reported to be keen on Igor Coronado.
Former Watford transfer consultant Nicola Salerno has said he believes Igor Coronado would be a good signing for the Hornets.
Salerno worked for Watford between 2015 and 2016 after a previous spell at Leeds United.
The playmaker has enjoyed a terrific season in Italy’s Serie B, scoring nine goals and providing 10 assists.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb last night, Salerno gave his thoughts on Coronado when quizzed about Watford’s links.
He said: “He is a strong player. The facts say it. The numbers give reason. He would do well everywhere. And then he already knows English football.”
Coronado, 25, hails from Brazil and also holds an Italian passport so would not require a work permit.
He actually began his career in England with MK Dons before being released at just 18-years-old.
Coronado has since kicked on and the Dons will surely now be regretting not keeping him on their books, especially so if he returns to England with Watford.
