How good could Tottenham be with the duo they sold to Real Madrid?

Tottenham stars past and present are lighting up the World Cup this summer.
Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane’s exploits are being matched by former star Luka Modric.

Ex-Tottenham defender Ramon Vega noticed Modric’s goal against Argentina and admits to dreaming of him returning to Spurs, along with his Real Madrid teammate Gareth Bale.

Vega, who played for Tottenham between 1997 and 2001 posted the following message on Twitter…
Bale’s future at Real Madrid is set to be determined in the coming weeks by new boss Julien Lopetegui.
He had been open to leaving Real prior to Zinedine Zidane’s departure, and put himself in the shop window with his all time a classic bicycle kick goal against Liverpool in the Champions League final.

A team of Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane would have a real chance of challenging Manchester City for the title if Totteham were able to unite the quartet.
It remains a dream at this point, and it is so frustrating that if Modric and Bale had wanted to stay, then the club’s recent lack of silverware could have been so different.
