The Crystal Palace man is a reported summer transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha
Everton star Yannick Bolasie sat down for an exclusive interview with ESPN, and made a bold statement regarding Wilfried Zaha, suggesting that the Crystal Palace winger has similar ability to Barcelona superstar Neymar.
The Eagles star has been in sensational form for his club this season, and has established himself as one of the league’s most exciting attacking players, contributing with six goals and nine assists in 28 Premier League outings for Sam Allardyce’s men.
And Bolasie, who played with the 24-year-old during their time together at Selhurst Park, told ESPN how the talented winger can become one of the world’s greatest players, if he applies himself in the correct manner:
“He can go as far as he wants. I said the other day that he’s got the same kind of ability as Neymar and people were raising their eyebrows. But now they’re starting to see it and nobody is saying anything anymore!”
Barcelona’s Neymar
Zaha returned to Palace in February 2015, after a failed stint with Manchester United, but during his time back in South London he has matured into the player that everyone knew he was capable of becoming.
And if he continues his excellent levels of performance, nobody would be surprised to see him move away from the Eagles during the summer, especially with Tottenham monitoring his progress, and Allardyce admitting that a huge offer could be impossible to refuse (Evening Standard).
