Former Swansea City defender Chico Flores trolls Sam Allardyce, the two have history from 2013 when Allardyce was West Ham manager.

When Swansea City defender Chico Flores went down theatrically following an incident with Carlton Cole back in 2013, the then West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce famously laughed in the Spaniards face.

The incident received a lot of media attention and went ‘viral’, with most commending Big Sam for mocking the Swans centre-back, whose antics became rather regular for that of a centre-back.

Whilst Allardyce and many others found humour in the incident, Chico Flores – it would appear – did not. The now Qatar-based defender has had to wait three years to get his revenge, but he finally did so earlier today via Twitter.

Flores, who left Swansea in 2014 to follow Michael Laudrup to Qatari outfit Lekhwiya, first re-tweeted Spanish newspaper Marca’s reporting of the Allardyce scandal.

Minutes later, he tweeted three emojis crying with laughter. The not so subtle trolling of the former West Ham, Blackburn and Bolton manager didn’t go unnoticed.

The tweet has received much attention and Flores has since re-tweeted a number of Swansea City fans sounding their appreciation for Flores’ late revenge.

Hours later, Flores took his trolling to the next level, tweeting a picture of himself confronting Allardyce at Upton Park, with sunglasses, cigar and a golden dollar sign chain edited on to create a ‘thug life’ version of the former Spanish under-21 international.

Given the start to the week that Sam Allardyce is experiencing, he is unlikely to be too concerned by Flores getting one over him, but rather whether or not he will retain his job as England manager.

The investigation undertaken by the Telegraph, the first results of which were published yesterday, have come as a major blow to Allardyce so early into his tenure as England boss.

Chico Flores, meanwhile, is now into his third season in the Qatar Stars League, and won the Qatar Emir Cup earlier this year, as well as being named among HITC’s Middle East XI, alongside the likes of Xavi and Denilson.
