Former Tottenham defender Graham Roberts has criticised Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp for his behaviour when results do not go his way.

Klopp was visibly angry after Liverpool drew at home to Everton and vented his frustrations at reporters in the post-match interview with SkySports.

Former defender Roberts criticised Klopp via social media, and suggested that his Tottenham side were lucky to have Mauricio Pochettino instead.

He went onto name several managers who he felt behave more gracefully than Klopp, including Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger.

The Premier League looks beyond both already, although each have led impressive group stage campaigns to the Champions League knockout rounds.

But as Roberts points out, part of being regarded highly is respectful attitudes, and Klopp did himself a disservice yesterday in the wake of his side conceding a controversial late penalty.
