Liverpool midfielder Kevin Stewart has spoken about his former club Tottenham Hotspur today, explaining the big difference between the two clubs.
Stewart recently signed a new contract at Liverpool after impressing new manager Jurgen Klopp since his arrival at Anfield.
The 23-year-old joined Liverpool in 2014 from Spurs, joining up with his former youth team coach Alex Inglethorpe at Melwood.
Stewart is now a consistent member of the Liverpool first-team squad. Whilst he has hardly established himself as a starter the defensive midfielder – who can play in a number of other positions – adds utility and depth to the Liverpool side.

Speaking to Liverpool TV, he explained how Liverpool is a much bigger club than Spurs:
“The bigger club for sure [is what I noticed].
“The fans, just little things, like on social media how everyone welcomes you, I never really had that before. Also just how close everything is here. Everything is so much closer, almost like a family.”
Liverpool and Spurs may very well be on level pegging at the moment but the Reds are a massive club worldwide thanks to their historical success.
But Spurs are trying to build their reputation globally and are an increasingly growing football team worldwide.
Stewart on the other hand will now be looking to secure his place in the Liverpool first-team picture.
