Stephen Kelly has said on BBC Radio 5 Live that Tottenham Hotspur should look at Joachim Low as their new manager.
Tottenham are on the hunt for a new permanent manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho last week.
Ryan Mason has been placed in charge of the Spurs first team until the end of the season.
It is very unlikely that Mason will get the Spurs job on a permanent basis. Club chairman Daniel Levy is likely to bring in a more experienced and big-name manager.
Former Tottenham right-back Kelly has suggested that Spurs should look at Germany national football team manager Low.
Kelly said on BBC Radio 5 Live: “I think someone like a Joachim Low. He is leaving Germany in the summer.
“He has said that he is going to walk away from the Germany national team. He has been there for a long time. I just feel that if you are looking for a name that’s won everything, maybe he might be someone.”

Low has been in charge of Germany since 2006 and has done a wonderful job with e national team.
The 61-year-old guided Germany to World Cup success in 2014 and the team also finished runners-up at the European Championship in 2008.
It was announced last month that Low will leave Germany at the end of the European Championship this summer.
The 61-year-old has a huge reputation, but the German has not been in charge of a club side since 2004.
Managing a national team, especially for around 15 years, and being in charge of a club side is very different.
Moreover, Low is 61 years of age now, and he may not be willing to get into the day-to-day affairs of club football.
It is hard to see Tottenham chairman Levy make a move for Low this summer.
