Former Rangers star Carlos Cuellar has sent a two-word tweet to his old side after they beat Celtic 2-0 in the Old Firm derby.
The Spaniard wrote ‘so proud’ while also attaching an applauding emoji.
Despite only spending one season at Ibrox, the now-retired 39-year-old remains passionate about the Gers, a notion reinforced by his tweet.
As The Telegraph states, Cuellar managed to win the Scottish Premier League Player of the Year award in his one and only season in Scotland – the iconic 2007/08 campaign.
The ex-Aston Villa defender made 55 appearances in all competitions during that season, helping Rangers reach three cup finals.
The Bears reached the UEFA Cup final, but unfortunately suffered defeat to Zenit St Petersburg in the showpiece event.
However, Cuellar helped Rangers lift the Scottish Cup after a 3-2 win over Queen of the South, while he also played a key role in the club’s win over Dundee United in the League Cup final.
One man in particular delivered a performance that the Spaniard would’ve been proud of against Neil Lennon’s men earlier today.
Connor Goldson managed to score twice against the reigning Scottish champions to help Steven Gerrard record a 2-0 win over the Bhoys.
The win moves Rangers four points above Celtic at the top of the table, although Lennon’s side have a game in hand.
