Roberts could follow in the footsteps of ex-Rangers man Hemmings by moving to Ibrox.

Former Rangers striker Kane Hemmings has backed West Bromwich Albion’s Tyler Roberts to succeed at Ibrox.
Roberts has impressed during a loan spell at Walsall this season, in which he has scored five goals and made another four in 17 appearances.
According to the Scottish Sun, the teenager’s form has piqued the interest of Rangers, with his temporary deal due to expire next week.
West Brom boss Alan Pardew has told the Shropshire Star he could yet give Roberts a chance at first team level, but Hemmings, who played with the forward at Oxford United last season, believes he would be a good signing for Graeme Murty’s men instead.
“I like to think he’d cut it at Rangers,” said Hemmings, via the Scottish Sun. “He is very good with the ball at his feet and he can go past people with ease. He will get the crowd on their feet, technically he is a very good player.

“Tyler will have clubs looking at him but I’m not surprised Rangers would be interested. He can run in behind, he can come short and he has two good feet. He has everything you are looking for in a striker.
“He maybe only scored two goals at Oxford but a lot of his appearances came off the bench and he didn’t get the game time he wanted there. Every day in training I saw his potential. He is only 18 but has the build of a man. He won’t get pushed off the ball.
“I have no doubt he could do really well if he got a move to Rangers. Nothing fazes him, either, and he will need that at Ibrox. He could handle that pressure. He knows he is a good player but he isn’t cocky.
“You don’t get the chance to play for West Brom at 16 in the English Premier League if you are a bad player.”

Roberts, who can also play out wide, would be a welcome addition to Rangers’ attack with Kenny Miller facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Five-goal forward Michael O’Halloran could also arrive at Ibrox in January, following his loan to St Johnstone, according to the Daily Record.
