Rangers have had a bid rejected for Kris Boyd.

Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd has hit out at the club over their failed bid for Jordan Jones.
Boyd is a teammate of Jones at Kilmarnock, and believes Rangers are undervaluing the winger.
Rangers had a bid of £350,000 rejected for Jones, with the asking price around £1 million.

Boyd told the Daily Mail: “There’s a common theme the whole time. There’s one club unsettling everybody. If they want players then pay the money and come and take them!
“Kilmarnock are not in a position to be bullied any more. We are not stupid — there will come a day when Jordan Jones leaves this club. But the value has to be met and he has been performing at a higher level than the value of the bid.”

Kilmarnock have helped Jones rebuild his career after he was cast aside by Middlesbrough and he is attracting interest from numerous clubs.
Rangers have signed Jamie Murphy and Jason Cummings on loan deals and are also looking to bring in Norwich defender Russell Martin.
Rangers are expected to push again for Jones, but whether they have the money is another matter.
They may be bidding low not out of spite, but simply because the funds are not available.
