Celtic clinched their seventh this year, finishing the season 12 points ahead of Rangers.
Manager Brendan Rodgers told The Times he understands how important winning 10 in a row is to Celtic fans and wants to stay at the club in order to do so.
He said: “I have three years’ contract left. Three plus seven equals ten. It’s a big thing for the supporters.”
BBC pundit Tam McManus said he feels 10 in a row is a formality if Rodgers stays put, but Adam disagreed.
Whether this is just bravado from Adam is unclear, or if he genuinely feels Rangers will rise up and deny Celtic their big hope of bettering their own club record.
On current form, there is little to suggest Rangers are anywhere near close, having been hammered 4-0 and 5-0 against Celtic in the last month.
There is a slim hope of a rebuild, with Rangers appointing a new manager in Steven Gerrard and hoping he can attract better players needed to properly challenge their rivals.
