Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers released Lewis Morgan in 2013, and he has now joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic from St. Mirren.

Morgan is one of the best young attacker players in Scotland at the moment, but the 21-year-old was released by Ibrox club Rangers when he was just 16 years of age, as reported by The Daily Record.
The winger subsequently joined St Mirren and has since established himself as one of the best young players in Scotland.

Celtic recently completed the signing of the 21-year-old winger from St. Mirren and have loaned him back to the Scottish Championship club for the rest of the season.
According to The Express, the Bhoys had to pay St. Mirren a transfer fee of £300,000 in order to secure the services of the winger.
While discussing Rangers’ decision to release him in 2013 and then Rangers head of youth Jimmy Sinclair not giving him enough chances, Morgan told The Express: “I probably lost a couple of years at that club so I can’t wait to get started at this one, the biggest club.”

Rangers fans will certainly disagree with Morgan about his comment about Celtic, but fans of the Celtic Park will love him for it.
The winger will hope to establish himself in Brendan Rodgers’s starting lineup at Celtic next season after his loan spell at St. Mirren.
