Steven Gerrard’s Rangers side must improve their form at Ibrox this season.

Ex-Rangers man Derek Ferguson spoke exclusively to the Daily Record, and highlighted how Steven Gerrard’s arrival at Ibrox this summer will ensure that his former club’s poor home form from last season is instantly stamped out.
The Gers have made a decent start to their 2018/19 campaign, having only lost one game all season, albeit arguably their most important one, away at Celtic 11 days ago.
Gerrard’s men have taken five points from their opening four Scottish Premiership outings, and currently sit seven points adrift of league leaders Hearts.
There have been signs that Gerrard is overseeing some real improvements at Ibrox, however, and Ferguson, who spent seven years with Rangers, told the Daily Record how the former England and Liverpool skipper will ensure that his side’s home form improves this season:

“The home games were a massive problem for Rangers last season when the likes of Celtic, Hibs, St Johnstone, Hamilton and Kilmarnock all came and won in the league. That won’t happen again under Gerrard and Gary McAllister. Rangers are an entirely different breed and a totally different animal under the new managerial set-up.”
Next up for Rangers is a home game against Dundee on Saturday, and Gerrard’s men will be desperate for all three points, as they look to get their league campaign back on track.
