Tottenham Hotspur have been identified as a club where the goal-scoring winger could thrive.
Former PSV Eindhoven coach Aad de Mos has been speaking to Eindhovens Dagblad about Uruguayan youngster Gaston Pereiro, suggesting that he would be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur.
The 21-year-old currently plays for PSV Eindhoven having previously been on the books at Club Nacional, and with 22 goals in 65 matches for the Dutch club he is certainly making a name for himself in the Eredivisie.

Tottenham fans will be quick to point to Vincent Janssen as an example of a player who excelled in the Netherlands only to falter upon moving to England, but for every struggling star there is a success story and de Mos for one thinks Pereiro would cut it in the Premier League.
βIn a team that plays more dominantly, he would have a better advantage,β de Mos told Eindhovens Dagblad.
βI think he would be a good reinforcement for Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham Hotspur.β

Spurs could definitely do with an additional winger and, with Pereiro able to play on either flank or as a secondary striker if required, he could be the solution to a number of problems over a whole season at White Hart Lane.
With a contract until 2020 he would not come cheap, if at all, but one man at least believes that Tottenham should take a punt before someone else does.
