Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has criticised Tottenham Hotspur on social networking site Twitter.

Jordan was not impressed with Tottenham’s performance against KAA Gent in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Spurs played out a 2-2 draw with the Belgian club at the Wembley Stadium in London in the second leg of the round of 32 tie.

As the North London outfit had lost the first leg of the tie 1-0 in Belgium last week, they went out of the competition 3-2 on aggregate.

Former Palace chairman Jordan believes that it was poor and disappointing from Tottenham.

Tottenham have struggled to play well at the Wembley Stadium this season, and they were deservedly knocked out of the Europa League.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s performances in the Champions League and in the Europa League this season have been disappointing.

However, Spurs are very much in the race for a top-four finish in the Premier League, and have also progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup where they will face Millwall at White Hart Lane.
