Former chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi has responded to Nottingham Forest fans who tweeted him about recent improvements at the City Ground.
Those who attended Tuesday night’s friendly win over Girona will have likely noticed a new-look Forest dugout, as well as other encouraging tweaks made since this summer’s change of ownership

Filmmaker Jonny Owen, who wrote and directed the 2015 release I Believe in Miracles – the story of Nottingham Forest’s double European Cup-winning side, took to social media afterwards, tweeting: “It’s the little things after years of neglect. They often mean more than a major signing or big win because it’s your home isn’t it?
“Better the money going there (ground improvements) than to poor signings and agents. Doesn’t affect FFP (Financial Fair Play). Shows intention. Means more than people realise.”
And several Forest fans sought to involve Al Hasawi in the matter, perhaps not expecting a reply from the Kuwaiti businessman.
Nevertheless, he did respond, but in doing so came across to some as being somewhat sarcastic.
Al Hasawi’s five-year reign came to an end two months ago, when Greek businessman Evangelos Marinakis purchased 100 per cent of his shares in Forest.
