The winger does not believe that Cash is heading to Germany.
Former Nottingham Forest winger Oliver Burke has been discussing the chances of his former team-mate at the City Ground Matty Cash joining him at Bundesliga high-flyers RB Leipzig.
This week has seen the midfielder linked with a move to Leipzig by the Guardian – who claim he could leave for anything up to £6 million this month.
The 19-year-old has broken into the Forest first-team this season and impressed in his appearances, although his campaign was temporarily halted by an injury problem.

But despite the reports, Burke is sure there is nothing to worry about for Forest fans.
The Scottish winger was talking to Bild this week when he insisted that he would know if Cash was joining the club, as he would have told him:
“He would have contacted me if there was something to it.
“He was one of my best friends at Nottingham Forest.”

Forest fans will be pleased to hear this news, even if it is coming from a young player who did make the very switch in question.
Forest are already struggling to keep hold of star midfielder Henri Lansbury this month so losing one of their top young players yet again would not go down well with the City Ground faithful.
Hopefully Burke is right about Cash’s future.
