The former Nottingham Forest player is working on a new playing position, according to his new manager.
Oliver Burke in action for RB Leipzig
Former Nottingham Forest star Oliver Burke’s new manager Ralph Hasenhuttl is quoted by the Daily Record stating he is being moulded into a number ten role at RB Leipzig.
Burke joined the Bundesliga side in the summer from Forest for a reported fee of £13 million, making him the most expensive Scottish player in history and has settled into life in Germany fantastically well.
The 19-year-old has already netted his first goal for his new side in a 1-1 draw at FC Koln and on his debut, he came off the bench to set up Naby Keita’s strike in a 1-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund.

Yet, Hasenhuttl has already decided to change Burke’s position from a winger into a more central attacking role, behind the striker after his impressive start to the season.
Hasenhuttl is quoted by the Daily Record as saying: “Oliver Burke is getting better, he is tactically more mature. He learns very quickly and is eventually the ‘Ten Option.’

“We have bought him to this position, and there you need good movement. We are still having a lot of fun with it.”
Leipzig have enjoyed a superb start to their first season in the Bundesliga, with the side currently second in the table, behind last season’s champions Bayern Munich.
