Atletico Madrid have snapped up ex-Newcastle United midfielder Emre Belozoglu.
On a free transfer Emre could turn out to be one of the best signings of the summer.
He has left Turkish giants Fenerbahce who he joined from Newcastle to sign for Europa League winners Atletico Madrid on a Bosman after his contract expired.
He spent three years at Newcastle after signing from Inter Milan in 2005 for just under £4 million.
The Turkish international scored six goals in more than 80 games for the club, but his final season was affected by injury.

He was allowed to leave in 2008, and in his second season at Fenerbahce he won the Turkish League Player of the Year award for his performances.
He has just enjoyed one of his best individual seasons to date, his fourth year at Fenerbahce, scoring six goals.
In total he scored 16 for the club in 140 games, but this season took on an unsavoury note when he received a two game ban for abusive language towards Didier Zokora, which the Ivory Coast international claimed was racist.
He ended this season and his time at Fenerbahce on a high, helping them win the Turkish Cup for the first time in 29 years with a 4-0 win over Bursaspor in the final.
The 31-year -old has more than 80 caps for Turkey, and you can’t help but feel several Premier League clubs have missed out on the skilful midfielder.
