Former Newcastle United Director of Football Joe Kinnear
Former Premier League boss Joe Kinnear’s most recent spell at Newcastle United is perhaps best forgotten.
Yet the former Toon manager and director of football has taken the unlikely step of joining Twitter, and he might not know what he has let himself in for.
Immediately the 69-year-old made a reference to his most recent spell at Newcastle, referring to a radio interview where he appeared to refer to Yohan Cabaye as Yohan Kebab.
As far as replies from Newcastle fans go… he might not get a better one than this…
If Kinnear goes on to use Twitter regularly, he could turn out to be a must follow, given the way he refuses to hold back, and embraces confrontation.
Joe Kinnear as Newcastle manager
During his time at Newcastle he was renowned for taking on all comers, particularly in the press, with a 2008 rant at Mirror writer Simon Bird highly memorable.
Kinnear is a close ally of Newcastle owner Mike Ashley, so he might not have too many negative views to say about the club, and anger towards him has subsided a bit since his resignation in 2014.

Had he been on Twitter during his spell as director of football, who knows what might have happened, but this could be entertaining even now.
Sit back and enjoy…
