Stan Collymore has given his take on Twitter on Everton newboy James Rodriguez.
As reported by Sky Sports, Everton have signed James from Spanish and European giants Real Madrid.
The report has claimed that the Meyseyside outfit have paid Los Blancos £22 million in transfer fees.
Former Liverpool striker Collymore has said on Twitter that James is “a highlights player”.
Good signing for Everton?
James is a serial winner, having won league titles with FC Porto, Bayern Munich and Madrid so far in his career.
The Colombia international – who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger – also won the Champions League twice with Madrid.
The 29-year-old does need to add more consistency to his game, but there is no doubt that he has a lot of quality, and can score goals and create chances for his teammates.
Moreover, the former FC Porto star worked with Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti at Madrid and Bayern, and the Italian tactician will know how to get the best out of James and make him a key figure in his team.
