If Jose Mourinho ‘gets up to his old tricks’ at Manchester United he will be sacked, according to Dietmar Hamann.

United lost their first game under Mourinho in the Manchester derby on Saturday as Pep Guardiola got one over his nemesis at Old Trafford.
The ‘Special One’ seemed to turn on the United players at full time by questioning whether some of his group could handle the pressures of coming up against their City rivals.
However, Hamann feels Mourinho needs to learn from his time at former club Chelsea if he doesn’t want to experience a similar fate at the Theatre of Dreams.
Mourinho clearly lost the dressing room last season at Stamford Bridge with stars like Eden Hazard and Diego Costa looking as though they turned on the manager through his actions as well as a well documented bust up with club doctor Eva Carneiro.

Speaking to Jim White on talkSPORT earlier today Hamann said “The reason he lost the [Chelsea] dressing room was because, publicly, he was not only criticising but at times he was humiliating certain players and obviously the incident with the doctor didn’t help.
“At times, it looked like he was begging to be sacked, which eventually did happen.
“I said when he joined Manchester United, if he is up to his old tricks then he won’t last a long time.
“No disrespect to Chelsea but Manchester United is an institution and there are people in the boardroom – Ferguson, Charlton – who won’t accept it. The club is far, far bigger than any individual. He has got to learn and change from last year.”

Mourinho had a number of negative incidents in his second stint as Chelsea manager with his outburst a campaign against Chelsea after Cesc Fabregas wasn’t awarded a penalty at Southampton, publicly accusing referees after a draw at home to Burnley and defeat to the Saints as well as being sent to the stands when Chelsea lost at Upton Park last season.
The United manager does have the tendency to go on the defensive when things do not go his way, this will be the first challenge of many however if he falls into the same notion as he did nearly 12 months ago, his time in Manchester will be cut short.
