Ex Leeds United loanee has found a new club.
Leeds United fans took note of Hamburg’s decision to release Pierre Michel Lasogga at the end of last month.
He struck 19 goals for Hamburg last season in the Bundesliga 2, and supporters wondered if on a free, he could provide a useful alternative for Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds.
The option is now off the table, with Lasogga landing a big contract at Al-Arabi.
Coincidentally considering Leeds’ links to PSG owners Qatar Sports Investors, Lasogga’s new deal is in Qatar.
He has penned a three year deal with the club.
Leeds have two main striker options at present, Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford.
The club also have Ryan Edmondson, who seems ready to step up from their under-23 side.
Adding players on the wing is the biggest priority rather than a striker, although an extra forward wouldn’t hurt. It just won’t be Lasogga.
