The former Leeds striker has been speaking about his former club today.
Danny Webber – Leeds United
Leeds United picked up a crucial first win at home in the Championship this season last night. They defeated Blackburn Rovers 2-1 thanks to a late goal from Kyle Bartley and it was a goal much needed for Leeds and their boss Garry Monk.
The game was a tight affair and Leeds will be very pleased to have picked up the three points.
In the summer hope was high that Leeds could challenge for promotion under Monk but they have struggled to live up to such expectations this season so far.

The pressure on Leeds players to succeed, and relive past glories for the team, is well documented, but one former Leeds player does not believe it is about pressure, but expectation.
Danny Webber spent half a season at Elland Road in 2012. He praised Leeds’ fanbase on Sky Sports News HQ this morning (14/09/16) – saying they simply expect their big club to be high up the table and for the players to work their hardest to get them there:
“I don’t think (there is too much pressure at Leeds).
“The fans will always, always, despite anything, get behind the team. It is a massive football club and they do have high expectations.
“But for the fact they have been out of the Premiership so long the fans have still remained behind the team.
“They want to see their team go out there and give their all and to at least be competing for promotion in some sense.”
Leeds manager Garry Monk
In recent times there has been a belief that perhaps some Leeds players have not been putting in their best efforts for the club, although not many of those players remain at Elland Road.
There is certainly pressure at Leeds, and so there should be.
But as long as the fans can see the players giving it their all the Leeds fans are a forgiving bunch.
