After firing a manager earlier this month, Brescia’s results have not been great.
With just three wins from 11 games, Brescia find themselves in 17th place, the position Cellino will have been desperate to avoid.
17 was infamously Cellino’s unlucky number, with the owner refusing to acknowledge it during his time at the club.
This meant no player was assigned the squad number during his time in charge, and even the 17th matchday programme of the season would be labelled ’16b’ instead.
17th may be slightly better than finishing in a relegation place, but the former Leeds owner is unlikely to be at all happy with how his return to Italy is so far panning out.
