Leeds United picked up their second win in a week at the weekend as they sent Cardiff City to the bottom of the Championship table.
The Whites were brilliant in a 2-0 win in the Welsh capital.
The goals came courtesy of a Chris Wood penalty and a late strike from Pablo Hernandez – which had one former Leeds United head coach purring.
Neil Redfearn was speaking about the goal on TV Yorkshire after the game on Saturday and he was clearly impressed with the finish:
“As the game wore on he really got into the game.
“He’s got great craft we all know that. We know about his touch and his technique.
“But he’s a clever player and I think he really found the pockets of space as it got stretched late in the game.
“His finish was right out the top drawer. Two goalkeepers wouldn’t have saved it.”

Hernandez’s goal was sublime. He jinked and jived directly at the Cardiff defence before picking a spot well out of reach of Ben Amos between the sticks to seal the win for an impressive Leeds United.
So far the Spaniard has certainly played in spits and spurts for Leeds United. One minute he can be magical, the next he can be anonymous.
This performance against Cardiff is possibly his best yet and the former Spanish international will no doubt be pleased to have bagged his first Leeds goal.
If he can put in more performances like this, then Leeds will no doubt be pleased with the loanee.
