Currently in charge at Brescia, Cellino has overseen two managerial changes and is considering another.
Cellino sacked Roberto Boscaglia earlier this season and replaced him with Pasquale Marino – before firing him and re-hiring Boscaglia.
This week Cellino was reported by Il Giorno to be considering an ‘extreme decision’ to sack Boscaglia for the second time this season.
Cellino has temporarily backtracked from this, report Brescia Oggi, and he is backing Boscaglia for now, but the manager’s situation will depend on results.
For all the changes, Brescia sit in 18th place out of 22 teams in Serie B and Cellino’s dream of owning a top flight club are further away than ever.
As Leeds fans know, once Cellino begins considering a manager’s future, it’s the beginning of the end.
He sacked six managers at Elland Road including one after just four games.
Many Leeds fans wanted Thomas Christiansen sacked by new owner Andrea Radrizzani sacked a lot earlier than he was, and the hesitancy has not helped the club’s situation.
But you need only look at the other extreme to see that Cellino’s methods are once again taking him nowhere fast.
