In a star-studded PSG team, Serge Aurier often slips under the radar. But how would he fare in England?
Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier would be an undisputed starter at Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal insists former Ivory Coast boss Sabri Lamouchi, as reported by The Mirror.
The 23-year-old has hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons in recent months, being suspended by the Ligue 1 champions for making derogatory remarks about former coach Laurent Blanc on Periscope before being handed a suspended prison sentence for assaulting a police officer outside a nightclub in September.

As a result, such controversies have rather overshadowed Aurier’s progression on the pitch, the full-back proving an astute addition from Toulouse as he helped PSG to a fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title in his debut season at the Parc des Princes.
And Lamouchi believes he has proven that he is talented enough to make the right-hand side his own at any of the Premier League’s top clubs.
“If you were to put him tomorrow in Arsenal’s, Chelsea’s or Manchester United’s team, he would start,” the 45-year-old, who managed Ivory Coast at the 2014 World Cup, said in quotes reported by The Mirror.

“An explosive, powerful and quick full-back is exceptional, there aren’t many on the market. He’s not at his best yet, either.”
However, despite his undoubted attributes, such a claim appears fanciful given the options at Arsene Wenger’s, Antonio Conte’s and Jose Mourinho’s disposal on the right side of their respected defences.
While Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin earned a deserved spot in the Premier League’s Team of the Season in 2015/16 for his rapid raids down the flank and solid one-on-one defending, Victor Moses (below) has reshaped his career to great effect at wing-back at Stamford Bridge.

Furthermore, United have the experienced Antonio Valencia, who started the campaign hinting at a return to his 2011 vintage before suffering a broken arm, and Italy international Matteo Darmian to pick from.
Despite the omnipotent presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic up top last season, and a reborn Edinson Cavani this, Aurier has assisted just four goals in 27 Ligue 1 appearances for Les Parisiens, suggesting Lamouchi is certainly correct about one thing – there’s room for improvement.
