Former Everton and Leicester City striker Danny Cadamarteri will be a guest at Sunday’s Goodison Park meeting between the two sides.
Cadamarteri shot to prominence as a teenager at Everton and played for 10 other clubs, including Leicester, throughout his 18-year professional career.
Now 37 and working as a coach at Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, the former England Under-21 international continues to hold the pair close to his heart, it seems.
“Looking forward to being back @Everton Sunday to watch them play another of my old clubs,” Cadamarteri posted on Twitter. “2 gr8 clubs with gr8 fans.”
Cadamarteri’s most famous Everton goal came during a 2-0 derby win against Liverpool in October 1997, shortly after his 18th birthday.

Despite having hung up boots in 2014, the Cadamarteri family continues to haunt the red half of Merseyside, with son Caelan-Kole scoring a double hat-trick against them for Sheffield Wednesday’s Under-7s last November.
Everton could climb to fifth with a win against Leicester, who’ve won all five of their Premier League fixtures since the sacking of Claudio Ranieri to all but end their relegation fears.
