Amid the ongoing issues with his recently cancelled return to the ring, Jake Paul is attracting a growing number of potential opponents for a fight planned for the end of the year.
Paul was due to meet WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in an exhibition, but that fight has now been scrapped and attention has shifted towards a possible December date.
Despite early talk of another meeting with Nate Diaz, ‘The Problem Child’ has downplayed the idea of a rematch, even though Diaz publicly stated he had agreed to it.
Rumours also suggest a potential showdown with Francis Ngannou, but Paul could find a new opportunity in a clash with a former welterweight world champion.
Timothy Bradley steps forward for Jake Paul fight

Nearly a decade after walking away from the ring, former welterweight champion Timothy Bradley has thrown his name into the mix of those willing to step in against Paul.
Bradley’s most notable moment came when he stunned Manny Pacquiao with a split decision win in 2012 to claim the WBO title, though he would lose both the rematch and the trilogy bout before eventually retiring.
Despite that, the 42-year-old has not been shy about his intentions. He has set his sights on both Paul and J’Leon Love, declaring that he would be ready to fight them both on the same night.
He said to Fight Hype: “Yeah, I’m getting in shape. And if y’all wanna see me – like I said, you know what it is. Two-for-one, it’s still going on. …In the same night, in the same damn night, try me. Call my bluff, bro, for real.”
“You woke up an animal, bro. I still got it, hey, remember, I retired early. I retired early, I still had a lot left in my damn tank. I can come back and wax both [Jake Paul and J’Leon Love] a—- in the same night. Five rounds apiece.”
Jake Paul’s new move earns praise from Ronda Rousey’s rival
While still relatively new to the promotion game, Paul has already helped set up a title shot for a former UFC champion.
This time it is Holly Holm, who is set to take on undefeated Stephanie Han for the WBA lightweight crown early next year.
Regarding this, Paul had high praise for Holm ahead of the fight, recalling her 2015 knockout of Ronda Rousey.
“If you told me at 19 while watching Holly Holm become a UFC champ that one day I would be promoting her in a boxing world title (fight)… Let’s f—— go. Stephanie Han (champ, mother and active police officer) vs Holly Holm,” he said.
